Direct flights available to Kefalonia International Airport (airport code EFL) during the tourist season from many UK airports, and also from many European cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Milan, Vienna and many others.

Daily flights also operate from Athens throughout the year.

Villa Eleftheria is just a short 5 minute drive from the airport.

Kefalonia has many ferry services connecting the island to the mainland from Poros or Sami, and to other neighbouring islands : Lefkada, Zakinthos, and Ithaca.

Many of our visitors have driven to the island after a short stay sightseeing in Athens or elsewhere on the mainland.

Car hire is strongly recommended. Book early to avoid disappointment, and ask for airport collection to make your trip even easier! There is ample parking available at the villa.

A few e-bikes are also available for rental from specialist shops on the island. Particularly popular with teenagers, this is a great way to get about independently to nearby beaches and as far as Argostoli during your visit.
